Our swim hijabs are cut from chlorine-resistant, quick-drying swim fabric and made to stay in place through laps, waves and water slides alike.

The fitted design sits snug without pressure and won't balloon or drag in the water. The low-profile cut works under a swim dress hood or on its own with any of our swim sets. Out of the water, it dries quickly — no heavy, dripping fabric on the walk from pool to changing room.

Available in classic black and navy, plain shades that go with every Hiabaya swim set.

Styles

Fitted swim caps for laps, longer swim hijab wraps for chest coverage, pre-tied swim turbans for the beach. They pair with every burkini, swim dress and swim set. For dry-land training choose a sport hijab instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does a swim hijab come off in the water?
A properly fitted swim hijab in stretch swim fabric stays on through diving and swimming. Choose your normal head size; wraps tie for extra security.
Can I wear a normal hijab to swim?
You can, but cotton and jersey absorb water, become heavy and slip. Swim fabric is low-absorbency and fitted for the purpose.
Is hair fully covered?
Yes — swim caps and hijabs have a low front edge; longer wraps add neck and chest coverage.
