Our butterfly abayas have wide, wing-like sleeves that fall in soft folds and move beautifully as you walk. Each one is cut from crinkle crepe, a textured fabric that keeps its easy, relaxed look through a busy day, and comes in two generous sizes. Choose from olive, sea green, ochre, rust brown, mauve taupe, cobalt blue, charcoal, white or black.

Butterfly abayas: wide wings, easy movement

A butterfly abaya, also called a batwing abaya, has sleeves joined from the wrist to the hip, so the fabric opens into wide wings when you lift your arms and falls in soft folds when you don't. It covers the arms and body generously in one closed piece, which is why many women choose it for prayer, the mosque and long days.

Our butterfly abaya is closed and floor-length in lightly crinkled matte crepe, with a plain round neckline and a straight body under the wings. It comes in two generous sizes, Size 1 and Size 2, and in calm colours from olive and sea green to ochre, rust brown, cobalt blue, charcoal, white and black.

Styling and delivery
