A balloon skirt for the bubble-hem trend, cut long enough to stay modest. This oat skirt is made in a lightweight, softly crinkled woven with a light sheen. It pulls on with a wide shirred elastic waistband, falls in soft gathers and vertical folds, and widens into a rounded volume around the lower legs. At the hem the outer fabric is turned under onto a shorter lining, creating the puffed bubble shape. Please note it ends at mid-calf, not at the ankle – lovely with boots or wide trousers underneath.
