A prayer dress is a one-piece, floor-length garment with an attached or separate hijab, made to slip on over anything for salah. Ours are cut from soft, opaque, breathable jersey and crepe, with elasticated cuffs and generous length so nothing rides up in sujood.

For home, travel and Umrah

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a prayer dress and a jilbab?
A prayer dress (prayer abaya or telekung set) is designed specifically for salah and is worn over your clothes; a jilbab is an everyday outer garment. Many one-piece hooded jilbabs work for both.
Is a prayer dress see-through?
No — ours are opaque, in jersey or crepe with a full lining where needed.
What should I pack for Umrah?
Two or three lightweight prayer abayas in neutral tones, six to eight cotton or jersey hijabs, and a couple of underscarves cover most trips. See our travel-friendly styles here and in the jilbab collection.
